Universal Orlando Resort has still yet to announce a major project in Islands of adventure, but with it being open for almost 1 week, we have been able to see the construction of the highly anticipated “Velocicoaster” at Island’s of Adventure.
Check out this video from Amusementinsider, who has created this amazing digital POV ride through showcasing what is currently to be expected from this coaster.
According to his YouTube video,
“Velocicoaster at Islands of Adventure is a multi launch roller coaster opening 2021 at the Universal Orlando Resort. This Jurassic Coaster POV is an un official animation in 4K, no limits 2. Most supports are in place and trackwork continues daily. Velocicoaster or Raptor are the rumored names for the new ride. This attraction has enthusiasts around the World following construction closely, the video is based on current supports, Google imagery, and layout plans leaked last year.
The new ride has the following stats in this animation:
First Launch, 55mph. Second Launch, 66mph.
Number of inversions, 5.
Manufacturer: Intamin.
The layout is not confirmed but here’s what I am expecting out of the layout of this new attraction. It is unconfirmed whether Jurassic Park will stay or be transformed into Jurassic World. The elements that could have majorly different shaping.”
