Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures through June 2021, and Disney Magic European sailings through Sept. 19, 2021

UPDATE: April 6, 2021 – Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures through June 2021, and Disney Magic European sailings through Sept. 19, 2021

Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully reviewing the recently released guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and working toward resuming operations. As we continue to refine our protocols for our eventual return to service, we are cancelling all sailings departing through June 2021. We have also made the decision to cancel Disney Magic European sailings from Barcelona, Dover and Copenhagen through Sept. 18, 2021.

We are offering affected Guests that have paid their reservation in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit* to be used for a future sailing on or before September 30, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has automatically been added to their account and can be applied as a payment option when booking a new reservation online. Guests that have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far.

Guests with Embedded packages on the impacted sailings will automatically be refunded the cost of their Adventures by Disney Embedded package.

Guests booked on an impacted Disney Cruise Line sailing and the associated Adventures by Disney Escape package will be contacted and offered the ability to remain booked, move their reservation to another Adventures by Disney Adventure or receive a full refund.

Affected Guests and travel professionals will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps.

Please note that we will continue to protect travel professionals’ commission on the original sailing that is paid in full and cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. For reservations that were booked using a Future Cruise Credit from a sailing previously cancelled by Disney Cruise Line, commission on a second sailing will be earned only if the sailing commences and will not be earned if the sailing is cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. In this instance, commission will be paid following the standard commission payment process.

SeaMails about this will be going out today. Below is a sample of the message being sent.
